Report of the State Airport Commission, 1930

The State Airport Commission, appointed by His Excellency, the Governor, in pursuance to Chapter 1353 of the Public Laws, 1929, ·entitled "An act creating a State Airport Commission and defining its powers and duties", reports to the January 1930 session of the General Assembly. After a thorough investigation of the various possible sites for a State airport, this Commission, on June 25, 1929, unanimously voted to select the so-called Hillsgrove site in the Town of Warwick, R.I.
