Abstract
This series is of Department of Public Works map copies of bridge plans from the WW II era.
Custodial History
The plans transferred to the Rhode Island State Archives consist of one set of copies of Rhode Island Department of Public Works bridge plans transferred to the University of Rhode Island ub 1943. Three other sets of the bridge plans were created by RI DPW and placed in different institutions around the state during World War II to provide some protection of the information contained in the bridge plans through redundancy. The URI set was transferred to the State Archives by Dave Maslyn on March 3, 2010.
