These records continue the documentation of the Mobile Home Law Commission. Mobile Homes Law Commission (44-01-01) was placed under the jursdiction of the Department of Business Regulations in the early 1990s. It retained that name until it became the Mobile and Manufactured Home and Park Section within the department's Commercial Licensing and Regulation division.

Biographical / Historical
The Mobile Homes Law Commission (44-01-01) was placed under the jursdiction of the Department of Business Regulations in the early 1990s. It retained that name until it became the Mobile and Manufactured Home and Park Section within the department's Commercial Licensing and Regulation division. The unit creates standards and procedures for the issuance of licenses to operate mobile and manufactured home parks and generally assists the Department of Business Regulation in carrying out the administration and enforcement of the terms and provisions of the state statutes.
