The house was demolished in 1876 to make way for the Hoppin Homestead building (1883). That building was eventually demolished in 1979 and is now a parking lot bordered by Aborn and Snow Streets. The records also include a large class picture for Gilbert Stuart Middle School, June 1944. The photographer is listed as from Providence, R.I.

Scope and Contents These records consist of black-and-white 4" x 5" negatives of the Mount Hope Bridge (RIDOT Bridge #300) which connects the Rhode Island towns of Portsmouth and Bristol and is part of Route 114. The photographs primarily document the building of the bridge from 1928-1930.
